A space to explore what lives beneath the surface

ABOUT THERAPY

Therapy with me begins with careful listening, and with following.

I work with people who feel caught: in patterns they can see but cannot shift, in relationships that repeat something older than the present one, or in forms of longing, anxiety, or grief that exceed ordinary explanation.

Some arrive with a diagnosis. Others arrive with a feeling they cannot name. Both are welcome here.

I have a particular clinical interest in limerence and intense attachment: experiences that many frameworks rush to resolve.

HOW I WORK

I am interested in what lives beneath the surface of experience: the emotional patterns that shape how we love, attach, repeat, and suffer, and the relational dynamics that form long before we have language for them.

My approach draws on attachment theory, psychodynamic understanding, emotionally focused therapy, and somatic awareness, brought in according to what each person needs and what is clinically useful at the time.

I work slowly and carefully. The aim is a deeper relationship with your own inner life: greater clarity, steadiness, and the capacity for choice.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Individual therapy offers space to slow down and attend to what is actually happening beneath the surface of your life.

People come for many reasons: anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, limerence and obsessive attachment, grief that will not move, or the feeling of living at a slight remove from oneself.

My work is depth oriented and reflective. We attend to what is happening, and to what it may be asking of you.

COUPLES THERAPY

In couples therapy, the relationship itself becomes the focus.

I work with couples around conflict, disconnection, intimacy, trust, and the cycles that form between people and can become difficult to shift. We look at the patterns that have developed between you: how attachment needs, emotional histories, and communication habits shape what happens in the relationship.

The aim is greater understanding, safety, and responsiveness within the relationship.
